This Cookie Policy explains how Zimbo Connect Ltd (company number 17405129, registered with Companies House in England and Wales) (“Company”, “we”, “us”, and “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website at https://www.zimboconnect.com (“Website”). It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and how you can control them.
The short version
ZimboConnect uses only the cookies and local storage needed to make the service work — keeping you signed in, keeping your session secure, and remembering a small number of your own preferences.
We do not use analytics cookies. We do not serve advertising. We do not use tracking pixels or web beacons, and we do not allow third parties to track you across other websites through ours. Because we set no non-essential cookies, there is no cookie consent banner to accept or reject — there is nothing optional to switch off. If that ever changes, we will introduce a consent mechanism and update this policy first.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently. Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, Zimbo Connect) are called “first-party cookies”. Cookies set by anyone else are called “third-party cookies”, and can be used to recognise your device across different websites.
Websites can also store data in your browser in other ways, such as local storage and a service worker cache. These are not technically cookies, but we have included them below for completeness, because they also put data on your device.
What we actually use
The table below lists everything ZimboConnect stores on your device. All of it is first-party — none of it is shared with advertisers or analytics providers.

What about payments?
When you upgrade a plan or buy a ticket, we send you to a payment page hosted by Stripe, our payment processor. That page is on Stripe’s own domain and Stripe may set its own cookies there, including cookies used for fraud prevention. We do not control those cookies and we do not receive your card details. Stripe’s use of cookies is covered by Stripe’s Cookie Policy.
Do you serve targeted advertising?
No. ZimboConnect does not display advertising, and we do not allow advertising networks to place cookies or collect information through our Website.
Do you use web beacons or tracking pixels?
No. The emails we send you — such as a welcome message, or a notification that someone has waved at you — do not contain tracking pixels, and we do not track whether you opened them.
How can I control cookies?
Because the items above are either strictly necessary or a preference you set yourself, there is no preference centre to configure. You can still clear or block them through your browser at any time. Note that blocking the authentication cookie will stop you being able to sign in, as there would be no way for us to keep you logged in between pages.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example, if we change the cookies we use, or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. If we ever start using cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
