Terms of Service

Welcome to ZimboMatch. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ZimboMatch website and app (the “Service”), operated by ZimboMatch. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use ZimboMatch

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. The Service is intended for Zimbabweans and members of the Zimbabwean diaspora living in the United Kingdom and other supported countries. You agree to provide accurate information and to complete our verification steps honestly.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
• One account per person; do not impersonate anyone else.
• You must not share, sell, or transfer your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. You must not use ZimboMatch to harass, deceive, or harm others, to post unlawful or explicit content, to solicit money, or to send spam. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

4. Subscriptions & payments

Premium and Gold subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Free trials, if offered, convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends. Paid event bookings are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. Refund eligibility is described at the point of purchase and is subject to UK consumer law.

5. Content & licence

You retain ownership of the content you post. You grant ZimboMatch a licence to host and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service. You are responsible for the content you share and confirm you have the right to share it.

6. Verification & safety

We use identity and age verification (including Stripe Identity) to help keep the community safe. Verification results are stored; verification images are not retained by us. Safety features such as blocking and reporting are provided, but you are responsible for your own interactions on and off the platform.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or where required by law. Some provisions survive termination.

8. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZimboMatch is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
